She has an 18-year academic career in Food Science and Engineering. She has many publications in the field of food science and engineering and has conducted and continues various projects on the sustainability of food systems.
She leads R&D projects on circular economy approaches in food engineering, bioresources and food systems. She holds bachelor’s and doctorate degrees in food engineering.
She is still a lecturer at Ankara University, Department of Food Engineering.
