We aim to determine a roadmap for the Turkish fertiliser sector in line with Turkey’s sustainable development and decarbonisation targets and to comply with the European Green Deal in this context, with the “Low Carbon and Climate Resilient Roadmap for the Turkish Fertiliser Sector” project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with GTE and ESCON as technical contractors and the Ministry of Industry and Technology as the beneficiary.
In the project, we will also identify the investment and technology needs in the fertiliser sector, one of the priority sectors in Turkey’s compliance with the EU Green Deal and the Border Carbon Regulation Mechanism (BCRM) processes.
